Author Talk with Francine Prose. Saturday, September 21 at 4pm. Francine Prose is a distinguished American novelist, short story writer, essayist, and critic. She is a visiting professor of literature at Bard College, a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books, and was formerly president of PEN American Center. She will be discussing her latest book, “1974,” her first memoir, about the close relationship she developed with activist Anthony Russo, one of the men who leaked the Pentagon Papers–and the year when our country changed. Roxana Robinson will introduce the author. Registration for this live event is required at cornwalllibrary.org. Books will be available for sale and signing.
