On Saturday, October 10, at 10 am, there will be an introductory walk to the Cooley Preserve at the end of Cherry Hill Road, led by CCT Steward Moss Mansell. This is an exciting beginning of a new one-mile trail which includes old fields and woodlands and a stunning view of the Housatonic Valley. The trail is easy, following field contours. It was constructed this summer by a Greenagers work crew that helped to make the trail and the 19th-century coal mounds visible. Be very tick-savvy.
