Local dairy farmer and cheesemaker Tommy Eucalitto is hosting an intimate cheese tasting directly from Shepards of the Italian Island of Sardinia. With the help of friends and fellow Shepards/Cheesemakers Emilio Spada (Marche, Italy) and Samuel Lai (Gergei, Sardinia), Tommy will be traveling around the island sourcing cheeses, wine, salumi and other foods with hopes of providing a taste of the ancient Sardinian traditions here at the Cornwall Library. Join us for a curated (seated) tasting, a screening of a short (30-minute) documentary by Giovanna and Marco de Poli and a cheesemaking demonstration at 5:30pm on October 6th.
