Election Day
Elections will be held on Tuesday, November 7 at Town Hall, 24 Pine Street from 6 A.M. to 8 P.M. to cast votes for First Selectman, Selectman, Town Clerk, Treasurer, Tax Collector, Board of Finance, Board of Education, Board of Assessment Appeals, Planning & Zoning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. Voting tabulators will be used. Absentee ballots will be counted at the polls.
Absentee ballots will be available on October 6 from the Town Clerk. Office hours: Monday to Thursday from 9 A.M. to noon and 1 to 4 P.M. Completed applications can be placed in the designated secure drop box outside the town clerk’s office or can be mailed. Completed ballots can also be placed in the drop box or mailed. Do not take your ballot to the polling place on Election Day. It must be processed by the town clerk and she will submit it to the polling place to be counted. Ballots must be returned to the town clerk by 8 P.M. on Election Day.
