“Migration from a Bird’s Eye View,” Ben Van Doren on birds, Sunday, March 20 at 4pm. Benjamin Van Doren studies global bird migration across scales, from individuals to continents, and his work spans ecology, evolution, behavior and conservation. In this talk, he will explore how migratory birds respond to changing environments and how we can tune into the phenomenon of bird migration by sight and sound. Benjamin is currently a postdoctoral associate at the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology with a Ph.D. from Oxford University and B.Sc. from Cornell University.
