Beginner techniques in creating pastel landscape paintings including presentation of materials and different types of pastels, scene composition, atmospheric perspective, use of color, shading, and textures to achieve a variety of vibrant pastel effects. A supply list will be available at the first class after demonstration of recommended supplies.   Fee is $75 for all three classes, payable to the instructor at the first class.
