Memorial Day observances on May 26 begin at the North Cornwall cemetery on Rattlesnake Road at 9 a.m., continue at 10 a.m. in West Cornwall at the Covered Bridge and in the village at 11 a.m with a parade. The UCC will sponsor its annual carnival from noon until 2 p.m. featuring grilled burgers and franks, ice cream, games, the cake walk, and “Meet the Llama.”
