Liv Scott will present “Emergence of Heart,” a short fiction film she made focused on the climate crisis, gender identity, and mental health. It tells a coming-of-age story about a child, who accidentally learns about the climate crisis and starts questioning adults and society. In trying to save the world, they realize they must first accept themselves. This short film is designed to open up community conversations about our experiences being a human on planet earth at this moment in time.
