Lorraine Hammond and her husband, guitarist Bennett Hammond, offer songs and stories from and about Cornwall in an October concert at the Cornwall Historical Society. Both are singers and 5-string banjo players. Bennett is an exceptional guitarist and Lorraine an exceptional Appalachian dulcimer player as well.

The program will feature songs that Lorraine learned while growing up in Cornwall and songs that she has written about her childhood there. The public is invited, and admission is free. A jam session will follow, so bring along your instruments and songs and share in the music making.
