Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 7 in Kent, Cornwall and Sharon

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 7 in the towns of Kent, Cornwall and Sharon from Entrance to Kent Falls State Park to Route 128.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 8.31 segment of Route 7 in Kent, Cornwall and Sharon. The milling of this project is scheduled to begin on Monday September 9, 2024 and be completed on Thursday September 12, 2024. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to start on Monday September 16, 2024 and be completed on Monday, October 11, 2024.

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday).
