Explore the Red Mountain, Dobbs, and Greyledge Preserves
August 8 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT
On Saturday, August 8, at 10 am, join Terry Burke for a hike through the Red Mountain, Dobbs, and Greyledge Preserves. This property is part of a keystone forest that provides important wildlife habitat and connectivity between the Mohawk State Park and the Hollenbeck River watershed.
The hike features rocky ledges and views of a scenic brook and is moderately difficult, with some rocky, uneven terrain. The route is approximately 3.8 miles as an out-and-back hike or can be completed as a pleasant 3-mile loop by returning along Johnson Road.
Please park near 29 Johnson Road and remember to be tick savvy.
