Cornwall Labor Day Guide

Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. Expect an action-packed weekend in Cornwall where local artists and farmers will be displaying the fruits of their labors. The weekend kicks off with the Cornwall Libary’s labor day art sale opening reception on Friday. Start your day off right with a visit to local farmer’s markets Saturday morning. There will be Jazz music in West Cornwall starting at 10:30, and the Cornwall Artist Open Studio starts at 1 PM, from 3-6 PM on the Wish House Lawn listen to the Covidian era band The Ballyhack Schoolboys – Jazz and such (bring a lawn chair), along with an artist reception at the Souterrain Gallery at 3 PM. The library labor day art sale continues through Monday, which is also the last day to vote/bid on Cornwall barnyard animals!
