Anne E. Fernald is the author of Virginia Woolf: Feminism and the Reader (2006), editor of the Cambridge University Press Mrs. Dalloway (2014), and is Professor of English and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Fordham University. Her most recent book is The Oxford Handbook of Virginia Woolf Scholars, a collection of 39 essays about Virginia Woolf, including one by Roxana Robinson.
Roxana Robinson is an author, professor, environmentalist, and a scholar of American paintings. She has written six novels, three collections of short stories, and a biography of Georgia O’Keeffe. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Vogue, The Washington Post, The Nation, and elsewhere. She lives in Cornwall.
