The words spoken by the narrator are an edited text of the first half of the Mars autobiography\, ending at the point at which James is sold and walks by himself\, aged 8\, to Mr. Munger’s farm. The performance uses a tabletop stage and projected and animated backgrounds and shadow play\, as well as collaged paper puppets manipulated by two puppeteers. Recommended for ages 9 and older. This event is free\, but space is limited to 45 attendees. Registration is required.
