On Zoom. Registration required. \nLarry Master is a conservation biologist\, a zoologist\, and long-time photographer. After doctoral and post-doctoral studies at the University of Michigan\, he spent 20 years with The Nature Conservancy and 6 years with its offshoot NatureServe\, most of that time as their Chief Zoologist. Larry helped start the Michigan\, Vermont\, New Hampshire\, and Connecticut Natural Heritage Programs\, the latter known as the Natural Diversity Database. He also co-authored Rivers of Life: Critical Watersheds for Protecting Freshwater Biodiversity and authored numerous other publications. In his retirement he serves on multiple boards and science advisory committees including the Cornwall Conservation Trust. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and pursuant to Gov. Ned Lamont’s Executive Order No. IOE\, the threat of the virus is a reason to vote by absentee ballot for this referendum.
