SUMMARY:HACKS Covered Bridge Slalom
DESCRIPTION:HACKS Covered Bridge Slalom\, part of the New England Slalom Series\, a ten-race series. \nPractice will be all day Saturday\, May 18th\, and the actual slalom race will take place on Sunday\, May 20th from about 9 – 3\, longer if there is a large turnout. Each boat gets to take 2 runs on the course\, the better of the 2 runs is the one that counts. Colorful poles are hung over the river and boaters must navigate through them without touching the poles\, each pole touch adds time to the score. \nThe New England Slalom Series (NESS) is a whitewater slalom series designed and run for racers in open canoes (0pen boats)\, K1\, C1\, & C2 slalom boats (closed boats)\, and all types of plastic whitewater boats. Our series warmly welcomes people of all ages and abilities\, from those who are complete beginners in whitewater slalom racing\, to those who race regularly for fun and excitement\, as well as world cup level racers who are in the area. \nFor more info please contact Jennifer at clarkeoutdoors@gmail.com
