DESCRIPTION:Local dairy farmer and cheesemaker Tommy Eucalitto is hosting an intimate cheese tasting directly from Shepards of the Italian Island of Sardinia. With the help of friends and fellow Shepards/Cheesemakers Emilio Spada (Marche\, Italy) and Samuel Lai (Gergei\, Sardinia)\, Tommy will be traveling around the island sourcing cheeses\, wine\, salumi and other foods with hopes of providing a taste of the ancient Sardinian traditions here at the Cornwall Library. Join us for a curated (seated) tasting\, a screening of a short (30-minute) documentary by Giovanna and Marco de Poli and a cheesemaking demonstration at 5:30pm on October 6th. Local designer Sophie Randall will be setting the table. Seating is limited. Register for the event at cornwalllibrary.org.
