SUMMARY:The IronHike Endurance Series at Mohawk Mountain
DESCRIPTION:The IronHike Endurance Series at Mohawk Mountain is a single or multi-day event that is part hike\, part trail run\, part group camping trip\, part one-of-the-hardest-damn-things-you’ve-ever-done\, and full-on badass mountain footslog. \nAll Mountain Athletes show up Friday evening. You will set up your tent in the base camp right off the course with other Mountain Athletes and tenting spectators and all events in the series start at 7 am sharp on Saturday morning. SUMMARY:Concert with Lorraine and Bennett Hammond - Historical Society
DESCRIPTION:Lorraine Hammond and her husband\, guitarist Bennett Hammond\, offer songs and stories from and about Cornwall in an October concert at the Cornwall Historical Society. Both are singers and 5-string banjo players. Bennett is an exceptional guitarist and Lorraine an exceptional Appalachian dulcimer player as well. \nThe program will feature songs that Lorraine learned while growing up in Cornwall and songs that she has written about her childhood there. The public is invited\, and admission is free. A jam session will follow\, so bring along your instruments and songs and share in the music making.
