Using poems and prompts\, Van Doren will guide participants to unlock their imaginations and generate unexpected new work in in-class writing sessions. Bring a photo of a favorite flower or the flower itself. A poet\, artist\, and teacher\, Van Doren is the author of four books\, including Sibilance and Sex at Noon Taxes\, which received the Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets.
