On June 7 starting at 9:30 at the Foote Field Pavilion (and parking opposite 60 Furnace Brook Road\, Cornwall\, CT 06753). Let’s celebrate Cornwall Trails\nby assembling then splitting up to walk our preserves and trails that spread out from Cornwall Village. They are of varying difficulty: Furnace Brook (reclaimed fields and wetlands-easy mile)\, Ballyhack (forested pine and laurel ravine – moderate 1-2 miles)\, Foote (gently sloping field with classic valley views – half mile)\, and Cathedral Pines (steep old forest – 1-2 miles). Bring a sandwich and something to share for lunch at noon. Dogs welcome.
